The requirements for the position are as follows:

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and live in Jackson County. Main duties include attendance at monthly board meetings, involvement in JCCD events, participation in personnel and policy reviews, and to promote district and NRCS programs throughout the community. If you are interested, please contact Lori Fitzgibbons at 517-395-2093 or lori.fitzgibbons@macd.org to obtain a petition for election. You must acquire signatures from at least 5 Jackson County residents, 18 years or older, and return the petition to the district office at 211 W. Ganson St., Suite 200 by no later than November 25, 2024 to be eligible.
